Background

One of the first experiences that someone has with VR is using a Google Cardboard. After I tried it for the first time I knew that I had to try and built a Virtual Reality experience in order to learn how to design for such a platform.

BUT, I had some restrictions, time and lack of experience.

For such restrictions, a low polygon scene was the only feasible idea that could be designed in a short period of time and limited knowledge in 3D design. The Software used was Cinema 4D to create the 3D elements and to composite the scene. Then, I imported all the elements in Unity, in order to create our Google Cardboard experience. and this is “How a 16h Google Cardboard Experiment helped to create my 1st VR Functional Prototype”
